“The Farm” is being built in Les Cayes, Haiti. Please pray for the completion of this project! The orphaned children who will reside here are living with families in the village temporarily until the children’s home at the Farm is complete.
Our objective is to match each child with a Bridger or Bridge family as soon as possible.
The farm will consist of a children’s home, school, and church which serves as a community center as well. The photo above shows the community center/church building in progress.
The Farm was blessed with a $50,000 donation towards its completion from a generous donor. Be looking for updates and photos as the work continues!
July 2016 Update
The Farm is nearing completion! A team of seven from Pulaski Assembly of God & Crossroads Church, along with Project 14:18 team members just returned from Haiti on June 24th.
They were able to spend several days in Les Cayes, the city where the Farm resides, meeting with Pastor Pollos & Pastor Kinol to continue planning towards having the children move into the facility. It will be a beautiful place to grow up!
Thirty-six children were brought forward by family members who have been caring for them after the death of their parents. We are in the process of vetting each child’s background, as well as praying for God’s provision of Haiti Christian houseparents for them.
Thank you to each and every one of you who have given any amount towards the completion of the Farm.
November 2015 Update
“The Farm” is progressing quickly in its construction, and we are excited to share the updated photos with you. One of the Project 14:18 team members recently visited The Farm and was able to see all of the work that has been done, up close and personal. It is a tremendous blessing that construction is going so smoothly and quickly.
A missions team from Crossroads Church in Antioch is headed to Les Cayes this month to continue working on the children’s home and other projects at The Farm. Please keep them in your prayers and look for more updates to come soon!
July 2015 Update
A youth team, whose mission trip plans fell through at the last minute, rerouted themselves to The Farm on God’s assignment. They labored and finished the footers for the children’s home, as shown below. We are excitedly praising God for this progress being made!
