Project 14:18 Mission

Project 14:18’s Mission

We exist to help build a bridge to orphans by linking them with supportive, prayerful, Godly individuals and families known as bridgers. While connecting with orphans in Haiti, they fulfill scripture, embodying the words of Christ in John 14:18, “I will not leave you as orphans, I will come to you.”

We seek to provide a conduit for more than just a monetary donation, but an avenue for a genuinely meaningful relationship for both the bridger and the child. We accomplish this through constant communication and an annual trip opportunity.

We are purposefully focused on strengthening the future of Haiti through the prosperity of Godly children. We believe in empowering Haitians through sustainability, both spiritually and physically. We are not the source, but God is.

Bridging Haiti’s Future Through Her Children

Project 14:18 is a collision of love for orphans and a hope for Haiti’s future. The way for us to change the future of Haiti is by bringing up educated, healthy and Godly children from within Haiti. Bridgers are similar to sponsors, except they take their mission to reach orphans more seriously than just sending a donation. They want to be a part of an orphan’s life. Forever.

Through the life-long commitment of a bridger or bridging family, the bridged child will have their basic needs for survival met as well as a future full of hope.

Each monthly donation of $29 goes towards clothing, food, clean water, and basic medical care as well as a quality Christian education.

The tangible needs are important, but the most imperative part of bridging with a child cannot be counted in dollars. Prayer and relationship building with a bridged child is crucial. We believe that each child has been placed into the bridger’s life specifically by God. Intercession and frequent letters, even visiting them in person will make all the difference in the lives of everyone involved. We offer annual trips guided by members of our experienced missions team.

We thank God for our existing bridgers and those to come. We look forward to partnering with you. We won’t leave them. We will build bridges to them in Jesus’ name. Will you build bridges to orphans with us?

It is easier to build a strong child than to repair a broken man.
